Duties

You will advise management on positions and personnel actions to include professional, technical and administrative occupations of all grade levels. You will attend meetings with managers and supervisors to help formulate workforce management plans and strategies. You will provide staffing, recruitment, and placement advice and assistance to managers and supervisors. You will review and analyze new and updated human resource management directives, policies, procedures, requirements, etc. for significant changes. You will initiate, monitor, and track all requests for personnel action (RPA) for assigned units after approved RTF is received.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 10% of the time.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral CommunicationPersonnel and Human ResourcesTechnical CompetenceWorkforce Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
