The incumbent of this position is an IT Specialist (System Analyst) located within Program Management Office (PMO),Integrated Testing for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM-IO), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA). The incumbent supports test environments and procedures required for the production deployment of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Duties

Plans, schedules, executes, monitors, and reports on various efforts that design, engineer, and operate test environments. Conduct scheduling, test software product solutions or efforts related to the creation and operation of organizational capabilities. Manages matrix-based teams that may include resources from multiple organizational components. Interprets VA policy and policies from external agencies to develop strategies and plans for the delivery of test services. Collaborates with VA offices, staff, vendors, contractors, and others in government and industry to coordinate test environments. initiatives. Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm Compressed/Flexible: Available at management's discretion Telework: VA supports the use of telework as a way to help attract and retain talented individuals in public service, increase worker productivity, and better prepare the agency to operate during emergencies. Ability applying risk management processes to identify and mitigate risks and issues across IT projects, in addition to connecting inter-dependencies among stakeholders, identifying conflicting needs, and adjusting stakeholder strategies as appropriate to address areas of agreement and/or areas of conflict.
