This position is location in the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS), UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG), ASSISTANT COMMANDANT FOR ACQUISITIONS (CG-9), DIRECTOR OF ACQUISITION SERVICES (CG-92), OFFICE OF STRATEGIC PLANNING & COMMUNICATION (CG-925), Washington, DC.
Duties
You will serve as the Knowledge Management and Records Management Team Lead within the Office of Strategic Planning & Communication (CG-925), Acquisition Directorate (CG-9), USCG Headquarters, Washington, DC. You will coordinate efforts across a wide scope of knowledge management and record management activities, including functional oversight and leadership of a team of civilian employees and support contractors. You will serve as the lead in overseeing long-term planning and goal setting, setting performance targets, and monitoring results as well as managing CG-9's CG SharePoint Online presence and associated tools.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements: This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience in order to be found minimally qualified. You MUST meet the following requirements:
To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
Specialized experience must include the following:
Projecting/anticipating long-term goals/objectives against future capabilities to identify shortfalls;
Assisting in providing routine updates to leadership about the status of various knowledge management tools and CG Portal solutions;
Evaluating and assisting in developing policy, instructions, and providing narrative and quantitative input for records and knowledge management and developing of other related policy and plans;
Having a familiarity with SharePoint, M365, PowerApps, etc. including permissions management and basic site and library development.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
NOTE: Education can not be substituted for experience at this grade level.
