You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will coordinate with Joint Staff, Service Personnel Centers and Service Senior Leader Management divisions.
You will manage manpower requirements and allocation of active-duty, reserve, civilian and contractor resources within the command.
You will develop new ways to measure program accomplishments, results and effectiveness. Participates in analysis and evaluation of agency functions or activities being considered for conversion to contract operations.
You will be responsible for joint personnel accountability, strength reporting, and personnel readiness for the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOINDOPACOM).
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
GS-13 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
Utilizing critical and analytical skills to identify complex problems, probe causes, and develop logical solutions and recommendations;
Analyzing and reporting progress, outcomes and recommendations in clear, concise manner to high level executives;
Planning, managing, organizing, and directing a small team and projects;
Applying pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources;
Providing a range of comprehensive joint manpower, organizational, and resources services to a host of joint organizations.
GS-12 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
Using management engineering techniques, performing studies and analyses;
Advising senior leaders regarding activities, policies, and guidance;
Organizing and directing study work with input and support from other analysts and subject matter specialists;
Developing techniques suitable for evaluating programs and processes and considering a wide range of issued which may affect the operation;
Preparing and presenting high level briefing and monitoring implementation of accepted proposals.
