You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPORT SERVICES in the Resource Management Group {TRF-702), Weapons Repair Department (TRF-700), of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will participate in special studies/analyses, prepare policies and procedures, and provide general resource management necessary to overall
department organization.
You will develop administrative procedures and policies to provide for the efficient operation of a department of over 214 military and civilian employees in work
operations.
You will serve as the departmental authority to both military and civilian supervisors, providing advice and assistance regarding personnel procedures,
regulations, and documentation.
You will coordinate departmental financial activities through the planning and development of short- and long-term budgets, and execution/ maintenance of the internal operating budget.
Requirements
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an IT-II Level designation.
Qualifications
For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience being fully functional in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Calendar) and have experience using Adobe Pro.
Experience with timekeeping and payroll, manpower and staffing, and security programs, policies, and regulations.
Experience in processing the full range of personnel actions, (processing requirements for RPAs; supporting documentation requirements; experience in classification, recruitment, separation/termination, reassignments, realignments, details, military furlough, etc.).
Experience being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in communication and writing.
Experience analyzing issues, evaluate different approaches to resolution, develop a plan to accomplish the task, and ability to follow through projects to acceptable conclusion, on time and with minimal corrections.
Experience with government training and travel programs and regulations, credit card policies and regulations, and budget planning, execution and reconciliation.

Education
For GS-09: In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Undergraduate Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, is qualifying for GS-5 level positions.
Graduate Education: Major study -- public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled. For some positions in this series graduate education may not provide the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience may be required for such positions. One full academic year of graduate-level education is creditable for GS-7; 2 years or a master's or equivalent graduate degree is creditable for GS-9; and 3 years or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree is creditable for GS-11.
