You will serve as a Support Services Supervisor in the Resource Management Group of(Code 402), Engineering and Planning Department (Code 400) TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will be responsible for performing budgetary functions, participating in organizational studies and operation planning, training, security, and supervising. You will develop administrative procedures and policies to provide for the efficient operation of a department. You will track authorized and onboard workforce for the department. You will assist military and civilian to obtain needed information on various matters

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an IT-II Level designation.

Qualifications

For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience preparing official correspondence for internal and external activities, addressing various engineering and administrative needs. Experience performing daily customer service for internal and external activities through in-person, phone, fax, and electronic communication. Experience utilizing software applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook to organize Planning Department files and monitor their status. Experience maintaining required logs and schedules to facilitate the systematic tracking and retrieval of documents. Experience supervising two administrative services assistants to ensure efficient departmental operations. Experience managing and creatin Request for Personnel Actions for departmental awards, promotions, retirements, recruitments, travel, and training. Experience fulfilling roles as department Key Control Custodian, Security Coordinator, and Department Disaster Preparedness Coordinator. Education

For GS-09: In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Undergraduate Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, is qualifying for GS-5 level positions.

Graduate Education: Major study -- public administration, business administration, industrial engineering, industrial management, or other administrative or management fields related to the position to be filled. For some positions in this series graduate education may not provide the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience may be required for such positions. One full academic year of graduate-level education is creditable for GS-7; 2 years or a master's or equivalent graduate degree is creditable for GS-9; and 3 years or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree is creditable for GS-11.
