About the Position: This position is located with the US Army Installation Management Command, United States Army Garrison, (USAG), Personnel Control Facility (PCF), Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Duties
Responsible for the security and safety of the facility, barracks, and Soldiers.
Serves as the Personnel Control Facility and United States Army Garrison 24-hour Information, Knowledge and Support staff duty desk officer
in support of 1000 assigned personnel and their families
Ensures accountability of all personnel assigned to the US Army Personnel Control Facility.
Escorts military personnel to and from all associated appointments for purposes of release from military service or further processing.
Enter and retrieve data from various automated equipment using various software programs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid State and Government driver's license.
- Position requires travel (30% of the time); applicant must be able to travel within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) as required
- Must wear uniform
- Shift work is required. There are three shirts working eight hours daily.
- Must be able to successfully complete a Pre-employment physical and yearly thereafter.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: 1) Performing administrative support such as preparing documents, reports, and correspondences utilizing automated data processing systems; 2) Perform security functions to include safety inspections; and 3) Perform escort operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
