About the Position: This position will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant (OA) with the Directorate of Training and Doctrine (DOTD), Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Duties

A principal administrative support position providing personnel administrative guidance, training and ensuring all personnel suspense are attained. Execute a variety of office automation, clerical and administrative. Maintaining electronic and manual records. Work requires an in-depth knowledge of command activities, operations, and the personnel assigned. Serves as the Defense Travel System manager for the Defense Travel System (DTS). Maintain the civilian awards budgets for the Directorate based on a percentage of total aggregate salaries of assigned civilian employees. Serves as an Administrative Support Assistant in the Administrative Branch, DOTD. Manages the government travel card program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: Perform a wide variety of administrative support duties such as prepare travel requests and civilian personnel actions, file maintenance and timekeeping, Use knowledge of a government travel card program to process requests for new travel cards and temporary increases in credit limits; Use principles and methods in conducting personnel management actions such as civilian awards and maintaining rating schemes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. (Note: You must subit a copy of yur college transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer SkillsOral CommunicationReasoning (Clerical/Technical) Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
