You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of Technology Development Support, Advanced Sensor Technologies (AST) Program Office of NSMA.

Duties

You will manage projects/contracts beginning with requirements definition, and through initiation, execution, Government/Fleet delivery and close out. You will recommend, analyze and manage major changes to program structure. You will collaborate with organizational stakeholders to develop budget execution plans and monitor program performance to those plans, elevating divergence to IPT (Integrated Product Team ) leadership as appropriate. You will integrate, prepare, develop, and assess the executive-level decision making and briefing materials for program matters.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the excepted service which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a mastery of and expert skill in applying complex fact finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques and in presenting findings in an accurate, conclusive, and persuasive manner. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Manage projects/contracts beginning with requirements definition, and through initiation, execution, Government/Fleet delivery and close out; 2) Recommend, analyze and manage major changes to program structure as directed; 3) Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to develop budget execution plans and monitor program performance to those plans, elevating divergence to IPT leadership as appropriate; and 4) Integrate, prepare, develop, and assess the executive-level decision making and briefing materials for program matters.
