You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the Fire and Emergency Services Division of NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE NEW LONDON.
Duties
You will supervise and evaluate all Personnel assigned to training duties such as Fire Prevention Inspectors and Fire Suppression Instructors.
You will act as Fire Chief in absence of Fire Chief as directed.
You will plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate all phases of the Fire Protection and Fire Prevention Training Program.
Requirements

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing training evolutions involving fire suppression, EMS operations, and response to hazardous materials incidents; 2) Evaluating the performance in the delivery of basic life support and/or advanced life support including supervision of ground ambulance transportation service; 3) Facilitating training on detecting, reducing, or eliminating of potential fire hazards; 4) Leading others and working as member of a team to accomplish emergency and non-emergency objectives.

This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Hazmat IC, Fire Officer II, Fire Inspector I, and Fire Instructor II. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. Also requires National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT)
