This position is located in the Office of Pharmaceutical Research Management (OPRM), Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Transplantation (DAIT), Office of the Director (OD), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Requirements

Qualifications
To qualify for the Pharmacist (Clinical) GS-6601-13, you must meet the following qualification requirements:
Education Requirement
A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained; AND
Licensure Requirement
An active, current license as a pharmacist in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States;
And
You must have at least one year of professional pharmacy experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Government obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: providing inpatient pharmacy services and preparing the complete range of sterile products (parenteral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition, and intravenous additives for a large medical facility); interfacing with physicians in the design of drug treatment plans; designing, conducting and participating in studies, audits and evaluations concerning drug utilization; providing drug information to physicians, nurses and patients on investigational drugs being utilized; compounding drugs as prescribed, including IV and chemotherapy drugs; teaching pharmacy techniques/procedures to other pharmacists.
