You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the Systems Engineering and Integration Branch (SPC4), of Conventional Prompt Strike -CPS PROGRAM OFFICE.
Duties
You will plan, budget and manage system modification management efforts and studies for the section.
You will provide systems engineering support for both problem investigation and performance evaluation activities pertaining to the CPS Weapon System.
You will plan, budget and manage missile and weapon system advanced development efforts and studies for the Branch.
You will develop system engineering policies which enable the branch to comply with high level technical guidelines and validate requirements flow down.
You will assure safety and establish safety requirements in the basic technical requirements documents.
You will conduct or direct safety engineering reviews and monitor design of the weapon system to assure operational safety.
You will use systems engineering modeling and simulation tools to support concept studies, system requirements development, design, analysis, verification, validation, test and evaluation, and life-cycle sustainment and support.
You will assist with developing and implementing initiatives to transform the workforce to adopt and support digital engineering across the program lifecycle.
You will coordinate team activities, progress, and scheduling to ensure successful project performance.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and assessing systems or digital engineering projects administrative and operational services (ex. risk management, schedule management, program protection, cyber security) to include budget requirements in order to evaluate and develop innovative policies, methods and techniques for the long-range administration and operation of a program lifecycle.
