About the Position: Serves as HQ IMCOM Joint Basing Team Management and Program Analyst responsible for expert level functional analysis for Army-led Joint Bases and Army Support Activities at non-Army-led Joint Bases.
Duties
Occasionally represents the Joint Base Team Lead in senior level committee meetings, conferences, ad hoc groups, and meetings.
Coordinates, integrates, and evaluates the effectiveness of established policies and procedures to formally deal with the resolution of such Issues and problems.
Works closely with various IMCOM Division and Functional Chiefs and key personnel in the headquarters, other Army Staff agencies, other Army Commands, and other Services.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position has a 10% travel requirement.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Monitoring the planning and implementation of strategic joint basing program planning, assessment, performance measurement and analysis. Serving as a representative to the Joint Management Oversight Structure (JMOS); preparing the Executive Deputy to the Commanding General (EDCG) for Intermediate Command Summits; and submitting annual ICS-approved Cost and Performance Visibility Framework data. Monitoring joint basing program policies and procedures and ensuring the joint bases operate in an effective and responsive manner.
Previous experience in joint basing is highly preferred.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
