As a Project Manager, you will manage one or more innovative acquisition project within Office of Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS). The office provides cradle-to-grave acquisition, project, & financial management support.Location of position: Alexandria, VAWe are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Serves as a Project Manager/Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and manages various innovative acquisitions.
Manages one or more innovative acquisition projects, which can include large, highly-complex, and/or sensitive projects. Manages the unique elements of a variety of innovative acquisitions (e.g., SBIR/STTR, CSO) and other innovative non-FAR based contracting authority initiatives.
Serves as a GSA liaison to the client in all phases of project management and task order administration.
Steward of client funding including: performing in-depth financial tracking, forecasting, reporting on client funding, which is critical to the success of client projects.

The GS 13 salary range starts at $117,962 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing Information Technology (IT) projects, Professional Services (PS) and/or Research and Development (R&D); and innovative acquisitions (e.g., Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer or equivalent special authorities, and Commercial Solutions Openings), which may include non-Federal Acquisition Regulation based contracts. Such experience must include project management, monitoring contractor performance and financial management.
