Duties
Serves as the DLA Aviation Industrial Planning and Support Deputy Division Chief at a major U.S. Navy industrial activity where
(cont.) Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) and Depot Level Reparable {DLR) overhaul and repair occur for aircraft, engines, and components.
Oversees and directs functions performed by personnel utilizing the DLA Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) applications, and those associated with the military customer's PDM Supply and Demand Planning programs.
Directs the performance of all actions needed to provide short- and long-range material planning support.
Manages customer service and support; serves as the point of contact for all DLA material planning activities for the U.S. Navy industrial activity.
Implements DLA supply policy as the process representative for all assigned industrial site supply planning and support functions, as well as appropriate operational level supply support.
Responsible for all aspects of DLA managed and non-DLA managed consumable material planning activities for the U.S. Navy industrial customer.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Experience implementing short, mid and long-range supply planning and logistics management support for military service industrial depot productions.
Experience developing coordinated logistics solutions/marketing strategies for customers.
Experience implementing supply policies for industrial site supply planning and support functions.
Experience leading teams comprised of personnel with varying material management, logistics management, supply, and demand planning experiences to support material readiness of Navy, Marine Corps and other U. S. Armed Services weapon systems as well as U.S. State Department and foreign country weapon systems.
Experience analyzing and reviewing material supportability documents and developing short- and long-term strategies to ensure material availability.
Experience analyzing customer forecasting and material utilization data to identify trends and support industrial site production readiness.
Experience leading discussions to resolve open issues with collaborative customers and to make adjustments in material support demand plans and stockage levels.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
