Duties

Serves as Industrial Support (IS) Retail Division Supervisor at a DLA Distribution Depot Manages retail distribution operations Provides primary governmental oversight and coordination of all services for the DLA Distribution Depot; supervises, directs, and controls the work activities of subordinate teams Directly manages a government workforce of wage grade and general schedule employees; provides oversight of contractors Simultaneously oversees and coordinates the support functions of receiving, storage, packaging, delivery, and other distribution functions for DLA and service owned material, including non-standard, specialized material Utilizes automated data processing systems Monitors various distribution, quality, and storage performance indicators and/or programs based on data from management information systems, reports, and/or technical reviews Implements Audit Readiness (AR) SOPs and ensures compliance with required auditing procedures

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supervisory General Supply Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Examples of creditable, specialized experience are identified in the Major Duties section of this vacancy announcement and may also include: Analyzing data to identify, develop and recommend needed program adjustments and assists in implementing new or adjusted program initiatives Preparing materials for and participating in briefings to executive-level stakeholders Integrating an organization's strategic plan, tactical action plan, mission, vision, and values into team goals, objectives, work plans, products, and services Serving as the customer service liaison for service coordination and problem resolution between all stakeholders Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
