Supports the FAA Logistics Center (FAALC) by inputting and maintaining data within custom designed financial and operational databases used to manage projects. Uses data to provide reports of Group operational and financial goals. Supports development of the Group's business plan. Analyzes deviations in data from planned business results for root causes. Develops information as requested for managers to plan business operations.

Duties

Coordinates the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements for inclusion in schedules. Adjust plans and schedules to meet group requirements for budget, performance, and time. Develops international reports to support management decisions and analysis.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-G (FG/GS 10/11) level, you must demonstrate in your application you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized Experienceincludes experience gathering, reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on financial information as well as working with inter-agency agreements and service order process; these processes include but are not limited to analyzing operational programs, producing computer generated reports, ability to extract vital information from charts, graphs and working collaboratively with both internal and external customers.OREducation Substitution: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.ORCombination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/sec-iv/a/gs-admin.asp for more information.Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): A Well Qualified candidate will demonstrate experience of logistics concepts and elements, e.g., life cycle management, maintenance, repair and overhaul operations, supply chain management within their resume.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
