This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Investment and Innovation in Washington, DC. The incumbent will serve as a seasoned analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of SBA programs and resulting effectiveness issues. The work of this position is performed in a staff capacity that supports the principal mission or line program(s) of the SBA and/or its organizational components.
Duties

As a Program Analyst, GS-0343-13, you will be responsible for:
Researching, identifying, coordinating, and writing a variety of reports requiring in-depth and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of specific SBA initiatives and programs.
Serving as an expert who provides senior leadership with program evaluation results that are utilized in the resource management process for greater program effectiveness.
Classifying program planning specifics through discussions and meetings with representatives of varying organizations
Performing a wide variety of especially difficult administrative, technical, and analytical duties pertaining to program and functional related activities during all phases of the planning, programming, and budgeting process.
Participating in agency and cross-agency work groups and teams involving cross-cutting initiatives and activities such as: conference planning, notice of awards, or updated procedures
Requirements

- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience for GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector:
Experience managing or leading multiple projects in varying levels of complexity; and
Experience producing publishable quality data reports for internal approval; and
Experience researching and analysis skills, which includes financial industry and analysis.
