About the Position: Incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Brigade S-1 Supervisor. Serves as a principal advisor for the 916th Support Brigade, its staff and subordinate units on civilian HR personnel areas of responsibility.
Duties
Analyze command missions, management objectives and organizational goals, projecting personnel needs and potential problems.
Develop plans and policies to achieve the maximum efficiency level of processing personnel actions
Advise management in classifying and evaluating civilian positions ensuring accuracy and consistency with established position management and classification principles, practices, policies, standards and regulation.
Prepare status reports and findings to recommend plans to improve efficiency of processing actions and solutions to eliminate recurrence of unfavorable conditions.
Requirements

- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Experience:
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes the following: Perform work for manpower requirements to replace losses of personnel and fill new positions created for military and civilian personnel. performing administrative support functions for an office and assisting management with interpreting and analyzing administrative principles, concepts, policies, and procedures.

Education: PH. D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computer percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by
12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
