You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Spectrum Warfare Department (WX), Force Level EW Division (WXY), Mission Engineering Branch (WXYQ) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will advance Multi-Domain Analysis Framework (MuDAF) capabilities while collaborating with Joint ElectroMagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) focused teams in a role as a task manager.
You will be focused on cost, performance, and schedule of the Force Level Electromagnetic Warfare Division efforts.
You will direct a technical team to accomplish the alignment Model Based System Engineering Standards (MBSE) with Advanced Framework Simulation and Integration and Modeling software (AFSIM) to include other Modeling and Simulation products.
You will direct the tasking to improve cost, quality, and performance for the supported customers.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 50 pounds in weight.
- Must be willing and able to work onboard ships.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent grade level) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical project operations to ensure cost, performance and schedule guidelines are met for the effectiveness and efficiency of warfare system programs.
