The primary purpose of this position is to support the 68th Network Warfare Squadron operations in the
production of OPSEC analysis/reporting by supporting network operations.
Air Combat Command (ACC), 688th Cyberspace Wing (688 CW), 33rd Cyberspace Operations Squadron (33 CYOS) Lackland AFB, Texas.
Duties
Duty 1. Provides customer technical assistance and support.
Duty 2. Serves as Information Technology (IT) Specialist performing work, independently or as a member of a team, in the administration, delivery, and support of IT systems and services.
Duty 3. Applies knowledge of IT systems and services used in the automated acquisition, storage, retrieval, manipulation, or reception of customer information.
Duty 4.Facilitates administration of the Security Hill local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) on behalf of the 33 CYOS.
Duty 5. Conducts feasibility studies to identify and analyze network failures.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

- This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
- Position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station using military or commercial aircraft or other conveyances in the performance of temporary duty.
- Work may require lifting and moving computers and components, and climbing or crawling to install or check cables.
- The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and carry a beeper.

in removal from this position.
- Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties.
Qualifications
This is a GG-11 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-11 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-11 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.

Specialized Experience:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of LAN/WAN and system principles and practices sufficient to install, configure, and troubleshoot components; systems architecture, integration techniques, and testing methods; knowledge of and ability to create, implement, and manage web-enabled applications, internet services, and servers; CI equipment and procedures; information operations (IO); communications and intelligence (CI) systems; and network operating systems. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of customer service principles, methods, and procedures for documenting problem resolutions and providing guidance and training to customers.
2. Knowledge of the DoD intelligence community and the various missions associated with each organization; and the various levels of security requirements associated with the Intelligence community, and the ramifications thereof.
3. Skill in analyzing complexities of existing technology and in maintaining an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predicting how management can meet future requirements.
4.Skill in analyzing network problems and recommending solutions.
5. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately; and to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
