You will serve as a PRODUCTION TRAINING PROGRAM COORDINATOR in Code 900T, Production Resource Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will plan, determine, and coordinate production training services required to support the Production Department.
You will conduct studies that involve recommending changes to training schedules; training records; coordinating improvements to training and work process problems and initiatives; and supporting production training plans and initiatives.
You will perform training program analysis of collected data, recognizes weakness in processes, and assists in formulating and recommending solutions.
You will serve as subject matter expert and lead for Production Training Assistants.
You will serve as senior point of contact for all training scheduling issues and requirements related to production training programs.
You will provide advice and guidance to ensure understanding and compliance with production training program requirements.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

- You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating, planning, and coordinating the execution of training services (e.g. training schedules & records management, work processes improvement, and initiatives) to identify weaknesses and strategically provide solutions to naval vessels production training program.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
