You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Task Force Turing Project (TFTP) team within PMS 401, Undersea Acoustic Systems of PEO UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS.
Duties
You will serve as Principal Assistant Program Manager for the Task Force Turing Project (TFTP) within PMS 401, Undersea Acoustic Systems.
You will be responsible for the cost, schedule, and performance of the Harbinger acquisition arm of Task Force Turing Project Office.
You will collaborate with stakeholders and prospective use programs for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) initiatives.
You will lead a team of civilians, contractors, and WFC personnel in the day to day execution of the TFTP
Initiatives.
You will execute programmatic initiatives within existing budget constraints.
You will establish work assignments to be accomplished by the employees in the program, setting priorities, preparing schedules for work completion, and ensuring the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts.
You will design acquisition strategies, program baselines, and direct acquisition life cycle activities and all efforts associated with the program office or functional area through subordinate managers and teams.
You will communicate program activities in a variety of written and oral forums at all levels internal and external to the organization.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing cost, schedule, performance or contract activities (e.g. logistics, budget, coordinating program requirements across internal and external stakeholders) throughout the acquisition lifecycle for modernization, in-service or new construction platforms.
