As a Senior Program Manager you will, manage multi-year IT-related product (systems/applications), training, or customer relationship management programs, projects, or business initiatives.
This position is located in Information Technology and Services in Washington, DC.
Duties
As an IT Program Manager, you will:
Lead, coordinate, integrate, and is accountable for the overall program management success of the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of processes, practices, systems and technology associated with the assigned initiative's intent and goals; and/or IT training, customer engagement, communication, and training activities.
Ensure all work efforts achieve stated outcome within the OCC's business strategy, including appropriate strategic, life cycle management, and capital IT investment plans.
Develop project management plans, risk and issue management plans, communications plans, scope management plans, work breakdown structure, budgets, and procurement strategies.
Coordinate with senior OCC leaders to ensure proposed product training program is compliant with regulatory policies, communication, software standards and with user requirements.
Ensure IT product requirements are understood and met, and execution is consistent with the project plan.

You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
Attention to Detail- Generally demonstrated by tasks where the applicant is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
Customer Service - Generally demonstrated by tasks where the applicant works with customers to assess their needs, provide information, resolve their problems, knows about available services; and is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication -Generally demonstrated by tasks where the applicant expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, considers the audience and nature of the information; makes convincing oral presentations; listens, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Generally demonstrated by tasks where the applicant identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; and uses sound judgment to evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations.
In addition:
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level or GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
Partnering with customers to recommend enhancements or technical business solutions to improve IT products and services. AND
Collaborating on product development projects to achieve key elements of a strategic plan or organizational goals. AND
Managing operational support of IT products to include managing customer expectations, prioritization of stakeholder needs, and long range budget planning.
The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
