About the Position: Serves as management analyst responsible for assigned Army budget programs. Incumbent performs budget program planning, analysis, execution, and policy advisory functions for assigned programs throughout the command.
Duties
Performs manpower analyst functions for the Garrison organizations.
Conducts independent cost and economic analysis of current or projected systems, programs and projects.
Performs quantitative analysis using a variety of generally accepted statistical techniques.
Analyzes complex planning, programming and budgeting policies, procedures, issues and guidance to determine impact on assigned programs.
Conducts organizational studies to enhance productivity of interrelated organizational elements, functional areas, or activities.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a valid Secret security clearance.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) performing analysis of manpower authorization and organizational manning plans; 2) assessing manpower requirements for an organization; 3) assisting management in identifying internal controls; and 4) providing management with recommendations on work methods that may improve organizational operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
