About the Position: This position is located at Fort Hamilton in southern New York City, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, at the base of the world famous Verrazano Narrows Bridge. It is 20 minutes to mid-town Manhattan.

Duties

Serves as a Management Analyst for US Army Garrison (USAG), Resource Management Office. Manage the Risk Management Internal Control Program throughout USAG and prepares the Commander’s Annual Statement of Assurance. Arranges and provides the required training, ensures all evaluations scheduled and performed on the Five Year MCP Evaluation Plan and certified by Accessible Unit Managers. Incumbent is appointed as the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) HR Mini-Master Manager. Incumbent is appointed to manage and monitor the Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPS) with full administrative rights and timekeeper role. Incumbent serves as the appointed Defense Travel System Administrator (DTA) and DTS Certifying Official, Government Travel Charge Card Agency Program Coordinator (APC) providing customer support, training, and guidance to Garrison personnel. Serves as the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Liaison between the Resource Management Office and Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Purchase Card division.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration or Finance. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. GS-11 - Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Planning and carrying out projects and analysis of the organization's risk management internal control requirements; (2) Interpreting established policies and procedures and interpret established policies and procedures; and (3) Managing automated financial, timekeeping and travel systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration or Finance. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
