Duties

You will assist in the performance of functions such as: formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; review and evaluate budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures. You will perform studies or assists others with full scale studies. You will provide information about, and interprets standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepares summaries for use by managers. You will perform specialized work involving managerial or administrative work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds. You will perform a variety of other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities may also be performed by incumbents of this position.

Qualifications

GS-09 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, identifying, and resolving a range of budgetary, financial, and/or fiscal accounting issues such as development of alternative methods of funding, and finding the cost effective use of funds to assure funds are not over or under obligated. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in analyzing, identifying, and resolving a range of budgetary, financial, and/or fiscal accounting issues such as development of alternative methods of funding, and finding the cost effective use of funds to assure funds are not over or under obligated. master's or equivalent graduate degree
