You will serve as a Lead Financial Mangement Analyst for COMNAVINFOWARTRAGRU VIRGINIA BEACH VA.

Duties

You will perform or advises on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities. You will analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations. You will communicate the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values and incorporate these into the team’s goals, objectives, work products and services. You will train or arrange for training of employees in teamwork and/or specific technical training as necessary. You will prepare reports of work accomplishments to supervisor. You will lead team in exploring alternatives and determining potential improvements in work processes, methods and procedures. You will inform supervisor of performance management issues/problems.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience and knowledge of budgetary and program history to determine how goals and objectives will affect programs and budgets. Demonstrates expert knowledge of all phases of the Federal Budget process to formulate budget estimates. Experience developing, applying and adjusting financial plans and policies to attain command objectives. Experience and thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience and knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations, related DoD travel instructions and Defense Travel System (DTS). Experience and thorough knowledge of SABRS accounting system (Standard Accounting and Budget Resource System). Experience and thorough knowledge of CFMS (Command Financial Management System) and PBIS-IT (IT Budget Program). Experience and knowledge of WYPC (Work Years Personnel Costs). Detailed knowledge of WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow). Experience and thorough working knowledge of government contracting and procurement regulations to manage command and field site finances and purchase card program.
