You will serve as a FINANICAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the SUPPLY/LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of MARITIME EXPEDITIONARY SECURITY GRP 2.
Duties
You will utilize extensive knowledge of Relation Supply (R-Supply) inventory and accounting systems.
You will recommend account reconciliation using approved adjustments in STARS-FL due to analysis and research of outstanding obligations.
You will provide program oversight, fiscal advice and budgetary assistance to subordinate command supply managers in the development of budget requests.
You will monitor the daily execution of the approved operational budget.
You will assist in determining annual and out-year budget requirements.
You will review budgets in support of both active and reserve training programs.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying Knowledge of and skill in applying functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures.
Experience applying knowledge of the policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area such as financial oversight, budget formulation, and/or budget execution in order to analyze and evaluate changes in program plans and funding and/or budgetary relationships.
Experience utilizing administrative and financial management systems such as R-Supply and STARS-FL.
Experience applying a high degree of skill in analytical reasoning and applying skills to the identification, analysis and conceptualization of budgetary problems.
