About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Brigade. Logistics Readiness Center, Fort McCoy, WI.
Duties
Plan, direct, coordinate, and manage all actions concerned with providing logistical operational support for the Logistics Readiness Center.
Prepare and submit documents required to establish contracts, monitor performance, and accept invoices for payment.
Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative for contracts and task orders with responsibility for providing oversight and monitoring contractor performance through surveillance.
Coordinate and develop plans for expansion of activities, consolidation of functions, special projects, new functions, or changes in currently assigned missions.
Ensure that established policies and procedures are being uniformly applied and recommend remedial measures as necessary.
Charged with the operational aspect for maintenance, supply and services, and transportation functions in support of the United States Army Garrison and other tenant units located on the installation and beyond.
Exercise technical and administrative supervision; plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set priorities, and schedule completion.
Review and analyze the short-and long-range strategic logistics planning objectives and goals.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- \Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.
- Temporary duty travel of 10% may be required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
