About the Position: This position is with the CENTER FOR ARMY ANALYSIS, STRATEGY AND RESOURCES DIVISION, located in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Duties
Responsible for organizing, interacting, coordinating, and leading the Modeling and Simulation Enterprise portfolio through collaboration with Offices of Primary Responsibility (OPRs).
Plans, organizes, and carries out annual planning actions.
Identifies, translates, and articulates high level Modeling and Simulation Enterprise needs and shortfalls.
Conducts analysis of Army Modeling and Simulation needs and requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Employee is expected to be able to perform CONUS and OCONUS travel frequently and on short notice (travel could exceed 25%).
- Security Clearance: Noncritical-Sensitive (NCS)/Moderate Risk - SECRET

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating daily actions and meetings with committee and council representatives; developing ideas for innovative plans to address issues and requirements; advising senior leadership on plans and technical methodologies for modeling and simulation implementation effort; and preparing written responses to congressional inquiries to resolve issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
