The incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst in the FAA Academy, Regulatory Standards Division, AMA-260.

Duties

Provides a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve and support technical training program operations. Researches, plans, and purchases technical training for field personnel concerning regulations, policies, procedures and specialized training for operations, airworthiness and avionics inspectors and engineers.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FG-13 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience: Collecting, analyzing and preparing factual information and reports; identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions for complex/difficult problems and/or recommending improvements to processes; experience with technical evaluations of contractor proposals, developing statements of work, funding priorities, and contract modifications; performing analysis of training programs and developing baseline performance measurements.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
