The position is located in the Office of Civil Rights (ACR) whose mission is to implement civil rights and equal employment opportunity policies and operational programs, to ensure their full and successful development in support of the FAA, in providing the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world.

Duties

The incumbent serves as an Equal Employment Specialist on the Civil Rights Staff, and is responsible for administering and implementing internal programs to ensure Civil Rights and EEO regulations and objectives are met.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: Experience conducting investigations and writing reports of data analysis and organizational assessments. Experience using fact-finding techniques, analyses and evaluations of equal opportunity principles to identify and resolve problems. Experience with identifying barriers to equal employment opportunities and making technical recommendations to aid in resolving concerns.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Interviews: Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.
