The position serves as a Senior Budget Analyst located in the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. National Central Bureau of the International Criminal Police Organization (USNCB). The incumbent will oversee budgetary formulation, execution and financial program management for INTERPOL.

Duties include but not limited to include:
-Presents the budget for the organization to management and budget officials.
-Coordinates the preparation of obligation and expenditure schedules, special studies, and reports.
-Makes recommendations that follow detailed analysis and consideration of program requirements.
-Maintains current information on the status of all operations and maintenance funds-Participates in the preparation of budget statements and justifications.
-Distributes funds to operating services.
-Provides administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit.
-Performs budget execution work involving the most difficult fund control activities.
-Reviews, analyzes, revises, and recommends approval, disapproval, or modification of budget requests and justifications.
Requirements
- You must be a United States Citizen or National.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
- You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period.
- Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Budget Analyst at (GS-0560-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in Federal service performing the following duties: performing budget execution work involving difficult fund control activities; overseeing the formulation of budget estimates and justifications; participating in the formulation and evaluation of program management, and budget policies; AND providing direction and guidance to lower-level staff members.

Education
There is no education requirements for this series and grade combination; however a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
