Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-11 level, you must have one of the following:
1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level defined as collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data to enhance effective space management utilization; utilizing software such as Autocad (or equivalent), Microsoft Visio, etc; and making recommendations to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related; the education must provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position
equivalent combination of education and experience
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level defined as identifying patterns and recognize trends in data related to space management and other business operations; advising stakeholders on recommended actions based on data analysis and interpretation; utilizing software such as Autocad (or equivalent), Microsoft Visio, etc.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and guidelines regarding space utilization and standards.
Skill in analyzing and evaluating analytical studies and data.
Knowledge of program goals and objectives, work processes, and laboratory and administrative operations of the organization.
Knowledge and skill developing and utilizing software applications, databases, and visuals associated with office and laboratory assignments.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Skill in oral communications.
Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods to issues or studies concerning efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
Skill in written communication.
