The primary purpose of this position is to provides ITAM program oversight and support to the agency through established and directed ITAM processes.
Duties
Serves as program analyst responsible for performing analytical assessment of current and projected ITAM processes applying metrics and management techniques necessary to support the organization and agency ITAM requirements.
Provides inputs used to draft/prepare reports, decisions, recommendations, and analysis to assure they accurately reflect the policies, positions, and views of the organization and agency.
Provides expertise, advice, and opinions regarding the organization's data analysis.
Develops, implements, and maintains ITAM training programs, data and file repositories, and policy and guidance.
Participates in special projects and performs special assignments related to ITAM programs, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in assisting in the planning and execution of all activities related to the deployment of IT assets; Assisting in the development of IT asset utilization forecasts, budgets, and plans; Identifying to management methods and tools used to quantify organizational outcomes, mission/progress capability, and effective resource utilization. NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
???????1. Knowledge and skills in the application of DoD, Joint, and AF ITAM principles, concepts, and methodologies and basic ITAM directives, concepts, procedures, guidance, and policy.???????
2. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of the assigned program.
3. ???Knowledge and skill in adapting analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of effectiveness of the assigned program.???????
4. Skill in applying knowledge gleaned from studies and analyses of program efficiency and effectiveness to develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range program administration.
??????5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to influence managers and other officials to accept and implement findings and recommendations on organizational improvement or program effectiveness.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
