You will serve as a MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR LEADER in the SOUTHWEST REGION FLEET TRANSPORTATION (SWRFT) of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.
Duties
Drive motor vehicle ranging in size from sedan to 50 passenger buses gross vehicle weight of over 32,000 pounds on scheduled short trips, transporting personnel from one place to another.
Drive water truck and van truck of less than 4-ton capacity, with up to six-wheel drive to transport drinking water, articles and materials throughout the post.
Passes instructions on to other workers received from supervisor and start work assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led.
Ensure vehicles are available, convoy requirements are met, and buses are at the appropriate place on time.
Check work in progress and when finished, check for compliance with commitment sheets and with supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods and deadlines.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to possess and maintain a current Class B Commercial Driver's license with passenger endorsement.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station.
