You will serve as a CHIEF OF TARGETS in the N2 of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE GROUP EIGHT.
Duties
You will serve as the Senior Targeting Officer focused on multidisciplinary integration and the synthesis of disparate concepts in direct support of the Command’s
mission and goals.
You will perform highly complex, difficult, and strategic assignments for global and specialized functional issues, both CONUS and OCONUS.
You will plan, coordinate, manage, support and act as the NSWG-8 Information Warfare component project manager for multiple, ongoing routine, special access programs, and compartmented projects and operations.
You will serve as the NSWG-8 and Task Force EIGHT (TF-8) Senior Targeting Officer and is responsible for the administration of daily intelligence operations,
requiring minimal to no direct supervision.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- Incumbent is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Organizing, planning, and/or directing the work program of an analytical element, including the regional experts charged with threat analysis and preparation of intelligence estimates, annexes, and feasibility assessments regarding adversary forces within all the various Unified Command Areas of Responsibility.
