You will serve as a MAINTENCE LECHANIC LEADER for the NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
Duties
You will coordinate priorities and dates with project and production personnel to verify efficient use of personnel.
You will plan work to be accomplished by employees to verify maintenance work is completed based on resource capabilities of the employees.
You will work with other supervisors to assemble multi-disciplinary teams to accomplish jobs.
You will determine resource requirements (e.g., materials, number of employees, types of skill needed) to accomplish long range work schedules.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You may be required to work rotating shifts.
- You will be subject to recall 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- You may be required to work other than normal duty hours, including evenings, weekends, and/ or holidays.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common task under general supervision including:1) Performing maintenance, repair and adjustments on water treatment distribution systems, wastewater systems, utility piping systems and/or boiler plant systems;2) Adhering to safety precautions while using layout techniques, materials, tools and equipment relevant to the of the maintenance mechanic trade.
