As a Realty Specialist, you'll accomplish complex & unusual real & personal property disposal cases for customer agencies throughout the Region where significant innovation is required to successfully complete the project. Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Real Property Utilization & Disposal Division in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA. Location will be determined at selection.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Requirements
- US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
- Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
- Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959

The San Francisco, CA GS-13 salary range starts at $128,717 per year.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates knowledge and application of Federal and/or commercial realty laws, regulations, and practices performing one or more of the following:
developing program guidance or standard practices for the utilization and/or disposal of excess and surplus real property;
performing long and short range real property asset utilization reviews;
performing real property disposal actions through a variety of means such as: direct sale by auction, sealed bid, or negotiations; public benefit conveyance; exchange; transfer; real estate transactions with nonprofit organizations;
developing marketing strategies, proposals, and presentations;
developing contracts for real property purchase or sale.
