Duties
As a/an Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:
In the absence of the Director, serve as the acting official in managing region wide functions of the office, including office administers, operational and resource functions; supervises office staff; and signs official correspondence.
Recommend appropriate actions to resolve remove bottlenecks, problems and assure goal accomplishment.
Recommend immediate corrective action wherever problems are found; wherever Headquarters policies, standards, or procedures are not being followed.
Ensure employee relations including overseeing EEO and labor-management responsibilities and activities for assigned staff.
Assign, direct and review the work of subordinate employees; plan schedules and coordinate work operations of the Division; resolve problems related to the work of the Division; develop the subordinate staff s performance standards; approve/disapprove employee requests for leave and rates performance; recommend awards and takes disciplinary action when necessary.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
-Analyzing and evaluating issues related to office operations; AND
-Contributing to the development of policies; AND
-Developing reports for management officials that outline findings and recommend solutions; AND
-Coordinating projects and building relationships with organizations in designated communities. (e.g., government and advocacy groups).
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
