About the Position: This position serves as Housing Management Specialist with the U.S. Army Materiel Command, DCS G-4, Operations & Logistics Industrial Base & Infrastructure Plan Directorate, Facilities Division, performing work related to housing management program evaluation, program development and program administration.

Duties

Provide technical guidance and/or responds to request for advice/assistance from operating, housing offices. Coordinate the conduct of audits, studies, inspections, and surveys of housing management and the follow-up implementation and reporting of responses to such activities. Provide technical assistance and/or makes recommendations to other housing managers and their staffs to improve the housing management program. Review the operational concepts, policies, and practices of the separate installations/post.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Housing Management Program AdministrationHousing Requirements Determination and PlanningOrganizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
