You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the FLEET SUPPORT AND RFA BRANCH of NSMWDC DET DAHLGREN.

Duties

You will serve as the organizational lead, responsible for exploring concepts of operation, force generation, force posture, sustainment and integrating future force platforms and capabilities. You will research, develop and apply concepts for achieving advantage-at-sea to improve current and future warfighting capabilities for the surface force. You will assist in the development of future warfighting concepts to help shape the weapons system development process. You will serve as a warfighting specialist in future acquisition efforts, testing, and product development required to support force level tasking.

• MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: executing analytical studies to identify, develop and apply concepts for the implementation of surface warfighting strategic plans and initiatives to close lethality gaps in maritime warfare.
