You will serve as a ELECTRONICS INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC in the Towed Array Systems Repair Shop (TRF-725/67T), Command and Control Systems Digital Repair Division ( TRF-720), Weapons Repair Department (TRF-700), CCS Digital repair Division (TRF-720), Towed Array Systems Repair Shop (67T), of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will use electronic test equipment, tools, and diagrams to determine which controls and devices must be changed or adjusted.
You will use test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ohmmeters) and tools to evaluate operational characteristics of the integrated systems.
You will adjust major integrated electronic components and subsystems of the TRIDENT AN/BQQ-5, AN/BQQ-6, or AN/BQQ-10 sonar system.
You will repair towed array handling systems to meet operational specifications.
You will analyze and determine repair actions required to correct malfunctions in the integrated systems and subsystems of the TRIDENT submarine electronic systems.
You will troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, modify, test, align, and adjust electronic equipment used on submarine tactical support and monitoring subsystems.
You will follow drawings for integrated electronic systems to determine needed repairs for malfunctions in the systems.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

Ability to troubleshooting and/or repair towed array handling systems, towed array processing systems, electronic equipment, command and control systems to meet operational specification.
Ability to utilize measuring and testing equipment for the repair of ship/submarine systems.
Ability to repair Trident submarines to meet production goals and command mission.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair external hull penetrators and associated cabling to meet operational specification.
