You will serve as a ELECTRONICS INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC in the Weapons Repair Department (TRF-700), Electronics Repair Division (TRF-730), RADAR/ IFF/ ESM Repair Shop (67A) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will adjust equipment (e.g., voltmeters, ohmmeters, field strength meters) to verify optimal working order.
You will coordinate repairs, modifications, testing, and alignments with other shop personnel and trades to achieve correct interfacing with other systems and subsystems.
You will diagnose electronic systems malfunctions and trace through numerous units to locate and correct deficiencies.
You will follow drawings for integrated electronic systems to determine needed repairs for malfunctions in the systems.
You will certify the accuracy of tests and measurements on electronic integrated systems.
You will verify test equipment (e.g., voltmeters, ohmmeters, field strength meters) are in correct working order prior to use.
You will check electronic characteristics and values of circuits and component parts.
You will integrate operable subsystems into a complete functional integrated system.
You will coordinate with assist trades or shops for scheduling or completion of work.
You will collaborate with management personnel to resolve work problems related to electronic integrated systems operations.
You will use hand and power tools in the repair, installation, assembly, and disassembly of electronic integrated systems.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current IT-II Level designation certification.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
