About the Position: This position supports the Army Food Innovation and Transformation Division. Vacancy may be used for other divisions.
Duties
Provide guidance and direction to the field for the execution of all related logistics functions in support of mission-essential operations of the organization.
Report activity levels to ensure dissemination/coordination of command control policies regarding Property Accountability, Supply Management, Industrial Equipment Accountability, Life Cycle management and the Command Supply Discipline Programs.
Maintain awareness of Army logistics management, operation objectives and programs for Industrial Equipment Accountability and Life Cycle Management.
Monitor issues with systems that relate to modernization plans, resources, program requirements and regulations.
Develop implementation of automated logistical information management systems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain secret security clearance.
- Acquisition certification, Life Cycle Logistics, Advanced, within 4 years of job entry.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Utilizing command logistical programs, such as supply discipline and maintenance regulations, procedures and policy; Monitoring supply, maintenance and transportation automated data bases; Analyzing property accountability of real and personal property, lifecycle management, and industrial and installation plant equipment used in determining requirements and corrective action plans.; and anticipating problem areas and resolving most of the conflicts that arise, coordinating with others as necessary to establish new or improved techniques, recommending appropriate course of action. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
