Duties
You will review blueprints and other technical data.
You will analyze reported problems. Provide Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) for sampled of finished projects.
You will monitor and report the application or verification of required modifications.
You will compose correspondence explaining technical requirements and actions proposed to solve problems.
You will coordinate issues pertaining to maintenance quality assurance for the installation, including tenant activities if appropriate, involved in the maintenance, overhaul, or modification of complex products.
You will develop and conduct various maintenance quality assurance training with emphasis on work procedures and techniques appropriate to the work environment.
You will participate in developing supporting data and technical controls required to monitor organizational compliance of prepositioning logistics operations with milestone and performance criteria.
You will update Statements of Work (SOW}, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLS}, and program task descriptions.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require employee to work under adverse environmental conditions.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems
- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position requires the employee to possess the applicable license(s) or authorizations(s) to operate assigned equipment.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising, planning, coordinating, and execution of military ground tactical communications equipment maintenance and management functions. Must be proficient in GCSS-MC maintenance (Roles & Responsibilities) and have a minimum of 4+ years' experience with the system; Require familiarity with layette/Demand Supported Items (DSI) management, reconciliations with supply and maintenance management, and dispositions of Marine Corps repair parts, including secondary repairables; Possess excellent written and oral communication skills; Able to use Microsoft Office suite to include MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access.

Education
For this position, the following education may substitute the specialized experience indicated above:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree
OR
