About the Position: Logistics Management Specialist located in the Missiles Directorate. *Position is a designated Security Cooperation Workforce(SCW) position with conditions of employment outlined in the interim Implementation Guidelines for the DoD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program 2.0, November 6, 2023.

Duties

Provide technical advice to functional offices/directorates of involved activities concerning the use of automation to perform mission and functions in areas of publications, logistics, acquisition and supply/maintenance. Coordinate managerial direction over the integration the supply, maintenance, new equipment training, fielding, item introduction provisioning and in other related logistical functions for assigned systems during all phases of the life cycle. Participate with supervisor in setting priorities, short range planning, and integrating the work of various team members to produce a unified product.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• This position requires a Secret security clearance.
• This position requires a Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450.
• The incumbent is required to obtain Level III Certification in Life Cycle Logistics within 24 months of entrance on duty as well as meet applicable DoDI 5000.66 requirements.

Qualifications

Conditions of Employment continue: The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the Security Cooperation (SC) Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position's SCW certification level: 1 year (Basic); 3 years (Intermediate); or 5 years (Advanced); and Complete certification-related continuous learning requirements in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017, Title 10 United States Code, Section 384. Incumbent(s) of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, and Department of the Army requirements of the SCW certification program.
