You will serve as a SUPPORT SERVICES TECHNICIAN (OA) in the ADMINISTRATION (N1) DEPARTMENT of CNATRA.
Salary Range:
GS-06: $44,336 - $57,639
GS-07: $49,268 - $64,050
Duties
You will administer and manage travel arrangements using Defense Travel System (DTS), including booking travel, preparing travel authorizations, and processing vouchers.
You will implement and improve office procedures and systems to enhance operational efficency.
You will maintain and organize electronic case files for current directives, forms, and reports, and manage databases to track current status.
You will provide computer software support, training, technical advice, and assistance to employees concerning directives, forms, and reports management.
You will update command personnel rosters, organizational charts and email distribution.
You will track and reconcile travel related expenses, ensuring all expenditures are within budget and properly documented.
You will review and approve travel authorizations and amendments to ensure they comply with Department of Defense (DoD) and agency regulations.
You will assist in conducting audits of travel expenses and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
You will perform duties as a Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA).
Requirements

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position may require you to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 25 pounds in weight.
Qualifications
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support by creating, reviewing, and editing correspondence and reports, analyzing and evaluating instructions and directives, or providing guidance on travel regulations to ensure work is accomplished in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
GS-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support by preparing correspondence and reports, collecting and reviewing instructions and directives, or tracking and maintaining travel program data to ensure work is accomplished in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of one full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
