Serves as the leader of the Connected and Automated Vehicles and Emerging Technologies Team. You will provide direction and leadership; initiate, develop, interpret, promote, market, and conduct national connected and automated vehicles programs; providing technical support and technology transfer to effectively integrate connected and automated vehicles programs with system planning and operations; FHWA directives for the administration and automated vehicles programs.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience formulating policy objectives and activities related to transportation information management and connected automated vehicle systems; AND
Experience developing guidelines, regulations, policies and legislative initiatives on connected and automated vehicle systems and ITS deployment practices; AND
Experience researching and analyzing technical and programmatic information, and experience preparing briefing papers, agency directives and regulations.
